Abstract (en)
The intensifier tube operation method involves a voltage supply (U) which is placed across two transistors (Q1,Q2) in series. The voltage driver to the photocathode (PC) is the centre point between the two transistors. A switching command is applied to a logic circuit (CL). The logic circuit drives two light emitting diodes (DEL1,DEL2) when a threshold light level is exceeded, each LED triggers an optical switch (TR1,TR2). The switches change the state of the transistors. Switching the upper transistor on and the lower transistor off applies a voltage to the photocathode. Switching off the upper transistor and on the lower transistor blocks the high voltage and sets the photocathode voltage to zero. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'utilisation d'un tube intensificateur d'image radiologique comportant une succession d'électrodes (PC, G1,G2,G3,A) parmi lesquelles une photocathode (PC). Ce tube IIR peut avoir alternativement un état bloqué et un état de fonctionnement. Le procédé consiste à appliquer sur la photo cathode (PC) une tension de fonctionnement sensiblement nulle lorsque le tube IIR est dans l'état de fonctionnement et une tension de blocage positive supérieure à la tension de fonctionnement pour que le tube IIR soit dans l'état bloqué. Application notamment aux tubes IIR utilisés dans des chaînes fonctionnant en alternance. <IMAGE>
