[origin: WO9424725A1] The invention is to provide a module for the connection of several participants by means of which, with a simple construction, a cable can be contacted simply, economically and reliably. To this end, a base housing (1) has a contacting device consisting essentially of a guide section (7), a conductor basket (9) and strip contact (6) with contact points (11). The conductor basket (9) can be secured at two heights in the guide section (7). With the conductor basket (9) in the upper preassembly position, the cable (5) with form coding can be fitted therein. When the conductor basket (9) is moved into the lower position, the insulation of the cable (5) is penetrated by the contact points (11) and at the same time conductor cores (3, 4) of the cable are contacted.
