Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0695529A1] The cover has an underframe supporting the article to be displayed, and on which a transparent cowl hinges upwards. The cover comprises front, side and rear walls joined by a top, and encloses the underframe. The bottom edge of the cowl-type cover (3) is fixed to a peripheral frame (2). This encloses the underframe (1) and pivots on it at points (4) on the sidewalls (8). When swung upwards, the foward end (7) of cover is above the base (5) on the underframe, while the rear end (9) is below it. There can be a supporting surface on the underframe and on which the sides and front of the cover rest in the lowered position.
