Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0695641A2] Each actuator (1) has electrodes (13,14) applied to both sides. One electrode is divided into eight parallel segments (13.1,13.8) overlying an active region (11). The other electrode (14) extends without interruption over the underside and part of the topside of an inactive region (12). The electrodes of identically constructed actuators are contacted directly by the conductors of a ribbon cable for control purposes. In mfr. there are several possible sequences of structuring and attachment to the diaphragm plate after metallisation and polarisation of the piezoelectric (pref. PZT) slab.
