Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0695697A2] The equipment is esp. for free-flowing material such as foodstuffs. It comprises a plastics box with sealing ring, in which there are two opposite openings for the trunnions on a tilting lid, on which there is a peripheral collar extending towards the interior of the box. The external shape of the lid (4) and the internal surface (3) of the ring (2) form a layer of a round body flattened at the sides. The lid forms a tilting seal inside the ring, and can hinge when necessary into a position leaving the ring opening almost totally free. The lid and/or ring can be provided with a seal, and the lid can be arranged to tilt in opposite directions into two or more dispensing positions.
