[origin: EP0695828A2] The assembly for the selective coating o a moving web such as of paper or cardboard, for surface coating or impregnation, has an initial coating station (35) to coat one side of the web (40), following a dryer group (10). A further coating station is in front of a further drying group (12), to act on the other side of the web (40). The non-contact dryer (12) is formed by drying cylinders (30,30') acting as deflection rollers.
