[origin: EP0695837A2] THe ceiling has insulation panels (9) made from an asbestos-free and mineral wood-free material which fulfils the requirements for a clean space. The gaps (12) present between neighbouring insulation panels are covered by overlapping the panels or by the use of additional insulation pieces (13) placed over the gaps. The insulation panels and insulation pieces are made from a granulate formed from blown mica and compressed with the aid of a binding medium. The panels have shaped overlap sections (16) and fixing elements (17) on their long (14) and/or broad (15) sides.
