Abstract (en)
The cylinder block comprises a cover (6) made of aluminium casting which forms the water jacket (7). The water jacket is connected to a base block (1) which is made of grey cast iron. The part of the cover forming the water jacket is double walled in the water conducting parts. The part forming the inner wall (8) lies directly against the running sleeve (2) and the part forming the outer wall (10) is set at a distance from the inner wall.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zylinderblock für einen Kolbenmotor mit wenigstens einem Zylinder, der einen aus der Laufbüchse (2), der Kurbelwellenlageraufnahme (3) und dem Motorfuß (5) gebildeten Grundblock (1) aufweist, der einstückig-stoffschlüssig aus einem Grauguß hergestellt ist, und mit einer im Bereich der Laufbüchse (2) als Wassermantel (7) ausgebildeten Ummantelung (6) aus Aluminium. <IMAGE>
