The connection system is used between electrical conductors having at least 2 filaments enclosed by a common insulation sheathing, one of the conductors (2) being flexible, the other conductor (1) having a rigid metal mantle. The ends of the filaments of the flexible conductor are stripped and fitted with a rubber sealing block (10) having a respective reception bore for each filament, with the projecting filament ends electrically connected to the corresponding filaments of the second conductor. A metal sleeve (13) in then used to enclose the connection point, one of its ends coupled to the metal mantle of the second conductor and the other end clamped around the outside of the sealing block.

Es wird ein Verfahren zum elektrisch leitenden Verbinden von zwei elektrischen Leitungen angegeben, die jeweils mindestens zwei gegeneinander isolierte elektrische Leiter und einen dieselben umgebenden, gemeinsamen Mantel aufweisen. Eine der beiden Leitungen (2) ist mit isolierten Leitern ausgerüstet und flexibel, während die andere Leitung (1) einen steifen, rohrförmigen Metallmantel aufweist. Zur Herstellung einer feuchtigkeitsdichten Verbindungsstelle werden zunächst die Leiter der flexiblen Leitung (1) abgemantelt und an ihren Enden abisoliert. Auf die so behandelten Leiter wird ein gummielastischer, Durchgangslöcher zur getrennten Aufnahme der Leiter aufweisender Dichtkörper (10) aufgeschoben. Danach werden die Leiter der flexiblen Leitung (1) mit den aus dem Metallmantel herausragenden Leitern der anderen Leitung (2) elektrisch leitend verbunden. Über die ganze Verbindungsstelle wird dann eine metallische Hülse (13) geschoben. Abschließend wird die Hülse (13) an ihrem einen Ende fest mit dem Metallmantel verbunden und an ihrem anderen Ende um den Dichtkörper (10) herumgepreßt. <IMAGE>
