[origin: WO9425173A1] A tube (12) for irrigation is made of elastic material and is pierced with a needle (22) to form a plurality of normally closed holes (24). A fluid is supplied by the tube at a low rate of flow. In response to the pressure of the fluid within such tube, the holes open (26), controllably releasing the fluid. An increase in the pressure of the fluid within the tube results in an increase in the hole size (28).
