Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0696503A2] The ink is transferred from a box (1) by a rotary roller (2) to the inking roller (4) by way of a lifting roller (3). The roller is carried by two levers (5) coupled together by a shaft (6) extending across the width of the printed sheet. The other ends of the levers are lifted by a smaller roller (7) in contact with the surface of a rotary cam (8). This roller can be displaced from the smaller sector of the cam by a threaded spindle (3) rotated by gearing (11,12) from a stationary positioning motor (10) driven in either direction at constant speed.
