Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0696673A2] The machine has a fixed guide (17), which is in the form of a portico, and a carriage (18), which is fixed on this fixed guide, and carrying a cutting head (20). The carriage has a base (25) by which it is in direct drive with this fixed guide, and a superstructure (26) on which the cutting head is fixed. Between the base of the carriage and the superstructure, there is, on one part, extension members (35-38,38'-38") for allowing radial displacement of the cutting head w.r.t the fixed guide, and on the other part, angulation members (41-42,38'-38") for permitting a rocking of the cutting head around an axis (A3) parallel to the axis (A1) of the fixed guide.
