Abstract (en)
The device possesses a light source and a light detector (5) between which the optical fibre (1) is fitted. The light detector is coupled via an evaluation unit to an alarm system. The equipment includes an evaluating unit receiving the signals from the light detector (5) varying with the pressure. This light detector covers the output angle of the optical fibre that traps the part of the beam field of those modes of low order.

Optische Druckkrafterfassungsvorrichtung, beispielsweise optische Alarmeinrichtung mit einem Multimoden-Lichtwellenleiter (1), der in einer Kontaktmatte (2) angeordnet ist, an der die Druckkraft liegt und der durch die an der Kontaktmatte (2) liegende Druckkraft gekrümmt wird. Der Lichtwellenleiter (1) ist zwischen einer Lichtquelle und einem Lichtdetektor (5) angeordnet, wobei eine Auswerteeinrichtung vorgesehen ist, die die Ausgangssignale des Lichtdetektors z.B. zu einem Alarmsignal auswertet, die sich durch Modenkopplung in Abhängigkeit von der anliegenden Druckkraft ändern. Der Lichtdetektor deckt einen Öffnungswinkel am Ausgang des Lichtwellenleiters (1) ab, der nur das Strahlungsfeld in der Umgebung der Moden mit niedriger Ordnungszahl des Lichtwellenleiters (1) einschließt. <IMAGE>
