[origin: EP0696782A1] The device possesses a light source and a light detector (5) between which the optical fibre (1) is fitted. The light detector is coupled via an evaluation unit to an alarm system. The equipment includes an evaluating unit receiving the signals from the light detector (5) varying with the pressure.
