[origin: WO9424395A1] In an adjusting device for tipping and pivoting windows with an actuating device for a bearing quadrant operatively connected to the window, the window (1) is guided in relation to its lower edge via a sliding bearing (sliding member 5) in the frame, whereby the actuating device takes the form of an automatically operable drive (7) which is coupled to a guide leaf (17) which is connected via a first push-rod system (16) to a first quadrant arm (8) of the two-part bearing quadrant and this first quadrant arm (8) is guided in the frame (2) to be longitudinally movable. The free end of the first quadrant arm (8) is coupled to a second arm (9) of the bearing quadrant which is connected in a frame bearing (15) to the frame (2) and in a leaf bearing (14) to the window (1), and whereby the connection between the quadrant arms (8, 9) is provided via a sliding guide (10) in the second quadrant arm (9) for the guide pin (19) connected to the first quadrant arm (8).
