[origin: WO9425757A1] A reciprocating pump to deliver semifluid media, such as paints, flooring plasters, wall plasters and the like, has one or more cylinders, each containing a piston. The cylinders are driven by a motor, on the drive shaft of which a round disk is eccentrically mounted. The connection with the piston is provided by a connecting rod, which at one end rest on the round eccentric disk and at the other is connected with a rod of the piston. A guide device guides the connecting rod parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder.
