The machine includes a rotating circular blade (1) having its axle (2) connected to an arm (3) which always rotates in the same direction around a drive axle (4). The drive and blade axles are mounted beside each other and parallel to each other and both are driven by the same electrical motor (10). The drive axle is driven via a reducing gear (9) and is of hollow construction, with an internal drive shaft (17) driven via a belt (19) from the reverse end of the motor and connected via a further chain or belt (15) to the blade axle. A counterbalance (13) is fixed to the driving arm on the opposite side from the blade.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Schneiden von Lebensmitteln insbesondere von Brot mit einem rotierenden kreisförmigen Messer 1, dessen Messerachse 2 an einem Führungsteil insbesondere an einem Arm befestigt ist, der um eine Achse 4 drehbar gelagert ist, die parallel und seitlich versetzt zur Messerachse angeordnet ist, wobei das Führungsteil um seine Führungsachse 4 ständig in derselben Drehrichtung umläuft (rotiert). <IMAGE>
