Abstract (en)
The internal combustion engine piston includes an upper section (1) made of ferrous material, together with a lower section (4) made of light metal or cast iron. The two sections are joined together via axial screws (3) through gilled flat connecting surfaces (2,7). At least one of the connecting surfaces is covered with a coating layer (6) comprising a solid lubricant such as graphite, bonded in hardened resin. The coating layer has a thickness of between 10 and 30 mm. and may be applied by spraying, painting or screen printing.

Bei einem gebauten Kolben mit einem aus einem Eisenwerkstoff bestehenden Kolbenoberteil (1) und einem aus einem Leichtmetall oder Gußeisen bestehenden Kolbenunterteil (4), die über ringrippenartige Auflageflächen aneinander anliegen und über in Sacklochgewindebohrungen (5) der Ringrippen (2) des Kolbenoberteils (1) eingreifende in Kolbenlängsachse verlaufende Schrauben (3) miteinander verbunden sind, soll mindestens eine der Auflageflächen mit einer Schicht (6) aus in aushärtbarem Harz gebundenem Festschmierstoff versehen sein, um einen Verschleißschutz zu gewährleisten. <IMAGE>
