[origin: WO9523903A1] The proposed parking system comprises two parallel unstaggered endless conveyor chains (1) consisting of elongated links (2, 3) jointed together. Both conveyor chains (1) have the same number of links (2, 3). There are two parallel deflecting wheels (8) at each deflection point of the chains (1) via which one of the two chains (1) is guided. Every other link spindle (6) of the chains (1) is continuous, and a carrying platform (13) is suspended from each continuous spindle (6). The end regions of the continuous link spindles (6) carry supporting wheels (7) running on rails (12) in the horizontal stretches of the chains (1).
