Abstract (en)
The support includes a number of closely adjacent cells which can be independently filled. The cells are pressure containers which can be deflected transverse to the support surface (1) and which can be deformed in their longitudinal directions by hydraulic or pneumatic pressure. The cells' longitudinal axes lie approximately perpendicular to the support surface and each cell is cyclically operated individually via at least one valve actuated by a control unit (10). Each cell can be bent at least in one normal plane perpendicular to the support surface.

Auflage (1) für eine Liegevorrichtung (2), insbesondere für Betten, Rollstühle, etc. zur Verhinderung des Wundliegens von bewegungsbehinderten Personen (6', 6"), mit einer Vielzahl von unabhängig voneinander befüllbaren dicht nebeneinander angeordneten Zellen (15), wobei die Zellen (15) als etwa quer zur Auflagefläche (17) auslenkbare, mit hydraulischem oder pneumatischem Druck beaufschlagbare, in ihrer Längsrichtung verformbare Druckbehälter ausgebildet sind, deren Längsache (16) etwa normal zur Auflagefläche (17) angeordnet ist, und jede Zelle (15) einzeln über zumindest ein durch eine Steuereinheit (10) betätigbares Ventil (23a, 23b) pro Zelle (15) ansteuerbar ist. Um eine feine dosierbare und automatische Steuerung des Körperauflagedruckes in einem weiten Umfang einerseits und eine punktförmige Massagebehandlung andererseits zu ermöglichen, ist vorgesehen, daß jede Zelle (15) für sich in zumindest einer Normalebene (17") auf die Auflagefläche (17') verbiegbar ist. <IMAGE>
