Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0698419A1] The dry components are taken from a gravity fed silo (7) by connecting the compressor (3) directly to a dosing duct (6) at the outlet of the silo. The compressed air pipes the dry components to a mixing element (11) in which water is added, and more compressed air, to feed the mixture to the spray head (1). The spray head has a moisture sensor (15) to monitor the consistency of the spray mixture with a feedback control (14) to a water flow valve (13). The silo can be a free standing silo eg. dray cement mixture, or can be a bulk carrier vehicle.
