Abstract (en)

The cutting process is carried out by two knives of a cutting device (4,4',5) opposite each other, moving continuously along feed direction parallel to their plane one behind the other. The two knives are moved in a plane basically perpendicular to the plane of the print product (2) in cutting grip with each other. The device used includes a feed device (3) by which the print product is moved as described. The print product can be guided through the knives. It also includes a drive device for at least one of the knives, which enables the knives to move in the manner described.

Zum Beschneiden von Druckprodukten (2) an der Kopf-, Fuss- und Frontseite entlang einer vorgesehenen Schnittlinie, die längs einer zu ihrer Ebene parallelen Förderrichtung kontinuierlich hintereinander gefördert und zwischen zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Messern (14, 15; 14', 15'; 50, 51) hindurchgeführt werden, sieht das Verfahren vor, dass die beiden Messer (14, 15; 14', 15'; 50, 51) einer Schneidvorrichtung (4, 4', 5) in einer zur Ebene der Druckprodukte (2) im wesentlichen senkrechten Richtung miteinander in Schneideingriff bewegt werden. <IMAGE>
