[origin: DE19509758A1] The length-adjustable boom comprises a connection sleeve (6) which is fastened to the ends of the main boom (1) so as to project over the ends. Each sleeve has a locking lever (7) with bolt pins (8). When the lever is in locking position, the pins engage into corresponding adjusting bores. The bores are located in a row at even relative distances, in the extension booms (3). The lever is sunk into a recess (14) in a flat extension (13) of the sleeve. One lever end (15) is pivotably fastened to the sleeve end. The other end has a lever section (20) with bolt pins. The lever section engages into an aperture (22) in the connection sleeve when the lever is in locking position.
