[origin: EP0698558A2] The container (20,22) has guide projections (30,42) on the lower external edge and guide recesses (24,36) on the upper external edge. When stacked, the projections fit in the recesses. The recesses in the upper external edge may be offset towards the inside of the container, forming a through upper edge. The projections and recesses may be mirror-symmetrical to each other in pairs. There may be webs between the pairs of recesses in the longer sides. There may be recesses in the surface of the pallet to anchor the projections on the underside of the container.
