Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0698762A1] The lamp base mounting (20) fits into an inclined part of the reflector of the head lamp. A hole (12) is formed in the wall of the reflector to allow passage of the lamp base. The mounting is fabricated in a single piece with the lamp base, and has a flexible wall (24a,24b) extending toward the exterior from the body (22) of the lamp holder. The mounting exerts an elastic force on the rear of the reflector in the region of the hole in the reflector wall. A flexible tab (253a,253b) co-operates with the region of the edge of the hole under the effect of the elastic force so as to spread the body of the lamp base to hold it tightly in the hole.
