[origin: WO9521663A1] The invention relates to a sliding body, in particular a ski or runner, e.g. for apparatus and vehicles, in particular for snow, ice and water sports. The object of the invention is to provide sliding bodies which are improved with respect to ease of sliding, directional stability or steering ease and manoeuvrability and possibly also with respect to resistance to shock-like and vibrating stresses. The sliding body (RB) comprises at least one structure (G) which reacts to vibrations and has at least one series (R1, R2, ...) of marked spatial, superficial or linear areas (A1, A2, ...), which comprise at least one vibration parameter dimensioned or distributed differently relative to at least one adjacent area or within an area itself. These parameters can in particular be the local spatial or superficial density, resistance to bending deformation or damping, and are effective in particular in the medium and higher frequency ranges of the natural vibration or resonance spectrum.
