[origin: CA2163252A1] A strudded web for building purposes from a sheet or plate made from high-tenacity material, preferably high density polyethylene (HDPE) has studs (2) shaped out of the sheet or plate, and has at least one studless marginal strip (3) running substantially parallel to one of its edges. The marginal strip is at least partly reinforced with reinforcing means fixed thereto, which are embedded in the marginal strip during the manufacturing process of the studded web.
