Abstract (en)

The ski boot consists of a lower section (1) in the form of a shell which covers the foot and heel, and a leg section (2) which is articulated to the shell. The two sections are equipped with fastenings (4,5,6). The leg section of the boot has a strap (10) which goes around the top of the shell in the zone of the pivot (3), and has a buckle (11) to close and lock it, with the locking direction (F) passing above the pivot. The strap is a separate component of the boot, held in place by the pivots, and is made from two materials with different degrees of rigidity.

Chaussure de ski constituée essentiellement d'une partie inférieure en forme de coque à volume variable (1) et d'une tige en forme de collier (2) articulé sur la coque, coque et collier étant munis de moyen de fermeture et de serrage (4, 5, 6). Le collier (2) comprend une ceinture de bas de jambe (10) entourant la coque au-dessus de l'articulation (3) du collier et munie d'une boucle (11) dont la direction de serrage (F) passe au-dessus de l'articulation (3). La ceinture (10) peut être constituée d'un matériau plus rigide que le collier (2). Elle améliore la tenue du bas de jambe sans augmenter la rigidité apparente du collier et sans réduire la possibilité de flexion du collier vers l'avant. <IMAGE>
