Abstract (en)
Liquids, pastes or plastics, particularly thermoplastics, are applied to a substrate, particularly a textile fabric, through perforations in a cylinder or a continuous belt (13). The cylinder or belt encloses a hollow space which is continuously evacuated by a vacuum pump. The application rate is periodically or continuously controlled. The applied substance can contain a foaming agent. In an embodiment, molten thermoplastic polymer is applied to a textile substrate (1) by an applicator head (3) through a perforated endless belt (13) acting in conjunction with a roller (7). The belt is driven by a rubber coated roller (17). A vacuum pump is connected to the space enclosed by the belt to remove vapours generated by the process. A separating vessel is fitted to the vacuum pump to collect any condensate.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Auftragen von flüssigen, pastösen oder plastischen Substanzen, insbesondere von Thermoplasten, durch Perforationen eines Zylinders (2), Bandes od. dgl., auf ein Substrat (1), insbesondere ein textiles Gewebe. Die Beschichtung wird periodisch oder fortlaufend durch Ermittlung der Höhe und/oder Flächenausdehnung und/oder des Gewichtes der Beschichtung bestimmt. <IMAGE>
