Redn. in HCHO generation in aminoplast-bonded, pressed lignocellulose articles (esp. wood- or fibre-board) is effected by: (a) adding condensed tannin to the lignocellulose before, during or after applying the aminoplast; and (b) applying an HCHO-reactive material after pressing.

Zur Herstellung von aminoplastgebundenen Holzspanplatten mit auf ein Minimum reduzierter Formaldehydabgabe wird zunächst den Holzspänen kondensiertes Tannin in relativ geringen Mengen beigegeben, z.B. 0,5% bezogen auf das Gewicht der Holzspäne, und nach dem Preßvorgang werden die Platten dann in an sich bekannter Weise mit einem formaldehydreaktiven Stoff besprüht.
