[origin: EP0699588A1] The foldable packaging is for glasses, bottles, cans or similar products, esp. for cosmetic articles. It has a rectangular package cover (1), with an edge-side connected cover part (3) engaging in the package cover with an insert tab (2). It also has a floor part provided with an insert tab. A shapeable tab is articulately connected to the two walls of the package cover abutting on the floor part and/or the cover part. It has three fold lines (9,10,11) parallel to the connecting edge on the package cover which divides the shapeable tab from the connecting edge (8) outwards into a first distance rib (12), a support strip (13), a second distance rib (14) and an adhesive tab (15).
