Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0699611A1] The conveyor is for bringing flat products (16) to a processing machine (20) for printing products. Driven support components (34) successively run along a closed circulating track in a circulating direction (U). A support arm (36) and a link component (38) are linked to each support component. A clamp with cooperating clamp jaws (48,50) tensioned in the closing direction is pivotably located on each support arm. A first of the clamp jaws is connected with the link component for pivoting the clamp. A second of the clamp jaws is connected with an opening component (126), on which an operating component (62) is brought into effect for opening the clamp (12). A control device (60) controls separately the support arms and the link component.
