The burner has at least fuel and air supplies to a mixing zone (15), in which a spinning motion or vortex is generated in part of the combustion air. It has a tube (22) for stabilising the vortex, and a hollow lance (23) for supplying the fuel gas, and which is arranged substantially in the centre. The ID of the stabiliser tube is at least twice the OD of the lance, and the lance has at least one region (26,27) inside the stabilising tube for the lateral discharge of gas. The lance may also have at least two axially separated discharge regions, of which one may be inside the stabiliser tube, and one may be outside.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brennereinrichtung für einen gasartigen Brennstoff, mit wenigstens einer Brennstoff- und einer Luftzufuhrleitung, die im Bereich einer Brennstoff-Luft-Mischzone enden, mit einer drallerzeugenden Vorrichtung, mit der ein Teil der Verbrennungsluft bei Eintritt in die Brennstoff-Luft-Mischzone in eine Drallbewegung (Vortex) versetzbar ist. Um einen geringen Ausstoß insbesondere an Stickoxiden zu erreichen, wird die Gaszufuhr durch eine im wesentlichen zentrisch angeordnete Hohllanze (23) durchgeführt. Ein Stabilisierungsrohr (22) umgibt die Hohllanze (23) auf einem Teil ihrer Länge zwischen drallerzeugender Vorrichtung und Ende der Brennstoff-Luft-Mischzone (15). Die Hohllanze (23) weist wenigstens zwei Mantelbohrungen (26) auf, die entsprechend zwei Gasaustrittsbereiche bilden, von denen einer innerhalb des Stabilisierungsrohrs (22) und einer außerhalb des Stabilisierungsrohrs (22) angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
