Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0700131A1] The connector includes a blade-strip in the form of a rectangular housing which is open on one side. The blade strip mounts on the blades of a back plane circuit board. A spring strip (1) can be plugged into the blade strip. The spring strip has input chambers and is connected with an assembly circuit board (3). The blades and springs are arranged parallel in several rows. The individual contact springs are surrounded by electrically-conductive shielding, which are connected to shielding contacts in the intermediate grid on both the assembly side and back plane side. The shielding contacts are supplied with a corresponding potential.
