Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0700134A2] The base (1) has a substantially square body (11) formed in one piece with the threaded part (2) and having parallel opposite walls (12, 13) in which grooves (e.g. 15) extend in the axial direction from the centre of the top edge as far as a stop (17). The foot (3) of the tubular lamp is correspondingly shaped with tabs (e.g. 32) on two opposite edges ending in lugs (345) which are held against the stops when a security sleeve is pushed over the lamp on to the base.
