[origin: WO9428098A1] A particulate detergent composition which is not the direct product of a spray-drying process has a high bulk density ( >/= 650 g/l) and contains a surfactant system consisting essentially of ethoxylated nonionic surfactant and optional primary alcohol sulphate, zeolite builder, and a citrate salt. Delivery and dissolution in the wash are improved by the choice of ethoxylated nonionic surfactant having an average degree of ethoxylation of 5.2 to 8.0, preferably about 7.
