[origin: WO9428537A1] A method, in a data communication receiver having a display, for processing received information comprises the steps of receiving (1100) an address, wherein the address is associated with a plurality of image data values, and comparing (1105) the address with stored addresses to determine which one of the stored addresses is equivalent to the address. The method further comprises the step of retrieving (1105) from memory a group of column values associated with the one of the stored addresses which is equivalent to the address, wherein the group of column values is stored in a form suitable for active-addressing columns of the display.
