Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0700646A1] The container has an inner recess fed through an aperture(8), in which the product, e.g. a lipstick or other cosmetic, can set after being poured in liquid form. An applicator (4) with a holder (41) has a loop-shaped end which is inserted into the recess to retain the moulded product on its end, while the recess is lined with a low-adhesion material, such as a polyacetal, polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE or silicone rubber. The applicator (4) is made from a relatively supple thermoplastic or elastomer material, such as polyethylene, polyester, polyurethane, nitrile or silicone. After filling, the aperture (8) can be covered by a seal, e.g. showing the colour of the product inside.
