[origin: EP0700725A1] A meat mincer assembly incorporates a helical cutter (2) with a delivery unit (1) located in the same plane and arranged either in a straight line or at right angles. An insert (7) is arranged above the helical cutter thus reducing the volume of the space (3) above the helical cutter. The insert (7) used may be of various segment (11) widths, applies a selected pressure to the meat and is located alongside a meat insert funnel (6). The insert (7) is a semi-circular unit consisting of a basic shape (8) with lateral securing tabs (9).
