Abstract (en)
The titer ring (1) is manufactured from recyclable material, and is fitted into the bobbin (2). It consists of the same, or a similar material as the bobbin, e.g. cellulose, esp. cardboard. The ring is formed by a ring disc with an approx. central hole (58). The outer diameter of the ring is slightly larger than the internal diameter of the sleeve. The ring is inserted into the bobbin from one end, and supports itself on a stop of a flared flange. For insertion, the ring is deformed conically resp. in a funnel shape, and is returned to its original shape afterwards, so that it fits by pretension.
