Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9527116A1] The invention concerns a cable pull window winder, in particular for motor vehicles, having a drive (1) for the reciprocal winding and unwinding of the cable pull (2) which extends in at least one loop and which, relative to the window movement, is divided into a lifting section and a lowering section (15, 16). The cable pull window winder further has a driving element (3) which can move up and down on a guide (5). The lifting and lowering sections (15, 16) each have a spring component (9, 10) for compensating cable slack. In order to enable the window to be raised and lowered substantially without play and to avoid wind and/or rattling noises, the spring (9), which is provided in the lifting section (15) and is compressed when the window closes, has a force which is greater than the displacement force resulting from the weight of the window and the frictional forces occurring as the window moves, and greater than the force of the spring (10) disposed in the lowering section (16).
