Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0701947A1] The prismatic packaging box (1b) for liquid or powder products is made of a cardboard/polymer material and has a pourer (2b). Internal deflectors formed from the same material as the packaging, partially partition the interior of the packaging in order, by means of hydrodynamic braking , to regulate the flow of the product during filling or use. The box is inclined at an angle ( alpha ) to the horizontal for emptying the product (12) into a container (13). The operator's hand (18) clamps the box in the central zone near to a stiffening deflector (5) which is connected to the internal side walls by thermo-welded legs (6). This deflector only partially partitions the inside of the box and plays the role of controlling flow of the product and increasing the resistance of the box. There are orifices (11s,11t) for the passage of air. Deflectors in the packaging control the flow of the product during both filling and emptying.
