Abstract (en)
The fork lift truck has a U-shaped chassis with two front wheels and a single steerable rear wheel, a control cab (2) and a lifting system with a telescopic arm (9). The arm is pivoted horizontally to the rear of the chassis above the steerable rear wheel and is raised or lowered by a power cylinder. The control cab (2) is situated to one side of the fork lift truck and its engine on the other, with the pivoted lifting arm in between the two, equipped with a supporting panel for the forks on its free end, controlled by a second power cylinder which keeps the forks horizontal. The lorry which carries the fork lift truck has sleeves (20) to receive the forks and a support (21) to take the weight of the raised truck.

Un chariot de manutention motorisé (3), à bras télescopique (9), comprenant un châssis (1) monté sur une pluralité de roues dont l'une au moins (7) est motrice, ledit châssis (1) portant un groupe motopropulseur (3), une cabine (2) et des moyens (4) de levage disposés entre le groupe motopropulseur (3) et la cabine (2), lesdits moyens (4) de levage comprenant ledit bras télescopique (9) monté à pivotement autour d'une axe (10) sensiblement horizontal. L'ensemble des moyens de levage (4) comprenant le bras télescopique (9) est déplaçable transversalement, de manière à permettre un réglage précis sur une distance prédéterminée (d) du positionnement des moyens de levage (4) en vue de la préhension de la charge. Un chariot de manutention motorisé apte à être embarqué à l'arrière d'un véhicule porteur comporte un châssis (1) présentant une conformation en U équipé de deux roues avant (5, 6) et d'une roue arrière (7) directrice, un poste de conduite (2) et des moyens de levage (4). <IMAGE>
