Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0702193A1] The lampholder (9) is for a motor vehicle headlight that has a reflector (2) with a slot (6) cut in the rear and top. The size and location of the slot are such that the lampholder (9) may be inserted into the reflector (2) from above using a handle (12) which is integrated with a small collar (11). The collar (11) locates the lampholder against a retaining plate at the rear of the reflector. The lampholder has electricity supply connections which includes a locking mechanism actuated when the handle (12) is rotated (8) through a small angle.
