Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0702381A1] The switch latch is provided by a locking button (17) operated to secure the hollow push-button head (14) in a defined switch position, within the switch housing (11), against a return spring bias. The hollow interior of the push-button head has retaining profiles (16) on opposing sides, with the locking button coupled to a forked slider (20), displaced by the locking button to bring the ends (26) of the forks, which projecting into the push-button head from below, into engagement with the retaining profiles. Pref. the ends of the forks have stop surfaces (27, 28) for retaining profiles.
