Abstract (en)
The loose tobacco is fed to the funnel system formed by two angled conveyor belts (4,6). One belt is driven to move the tobacco downwards while the other lifts it up. The differential action of the belts agitates the tobacco and loosens it into a homogeneous feed for an even loading of the dosing chamber which doses the tobacco for each cigarette. The loosening of the tobacco is further enhanced by an eccentrically driven agitator in the middle of the feed. The accurately metered amount of tobacco is slid axially to the paper wrap position to form the cigarette.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Bilden von Portionen aus zerkleinertem Rauchmaterial, insbesondere aus Schnittabak oder ähnlichem faserförmigem Rauchmaterial, durch Förderung von Tabak zu einer Portionskammer. Die Erfindung bezweckt eine homogene Füllung der Portionskammer mit Tabak. Die Lösung gemäß der Erfindung besteht darin, daß der Tabak durch trichterförmig angeordnete umlaufende Bänder der Portionskammer zugefördert wird. Der mit der Erfindung verbundene Vorteil besteht darin, daß die Portionskammer homogen mit aufgelockertem Tabak gefüllt wird, so daß Teilportionen relativ gleichmäßiger Dichte abgetrennt werden können, die z. B. in Hülsen aus Zigarettenpapier überführt werden. <IMAGE>
