Abstract (en)
The press (1), in particular, for forming and drawing operations incorporates a press ram with a top tool half and a press table with a bottom tool half. The blank holding force between the tool halves - in the case where the press is a single-action press - is adjustable by means of a pressure control unit. The pressure control unit (5, 9) or (6, 10) controls the pressure supplied to a pressure cheek (4) which in the press table (2) acts on the bottom tool half. A pressure oscillation is superimposed on the predetermined blank holding force in such a way that the latter is alternatingly increased and decreased during the forming/drawing process. Alternatively, the press may be provided with a pressure control unit for controlling the force exerted by the press ram on the top tool half.

Es wird eine Presse insbesondere für Umform- und Ziehoperationen von Blechteilen oder sonstigen Werkstücken vorgeschlagen, wobei der im Pressentisch (2) angeordneten Druckwange (4) ein Arbeitsdruck zur Durchführung der Umformbewegung auferlegt ist und wobei dem Arbeitsdruck eine pulsierende Druckschwingung derart überlagert ist, daß eine abwechselnde Erhöhung und Reduzierung der Werkstückhaltekraft erfolgt. <IMAGE>
