Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0703047A2] The mechanism, for a perforating cylinder (1), acts along a transverse fold line, a holder being provided for the perforating blade (3). The latter consists of a series of individual perforation knives (8,9) in a row running in the axial direction of the perforating cylinder. Each knife can have a straight perforating section and one inclined to it in the direction of rotation (C) of the cylinder and towards a line (11) bisecting the cylinder in the transverse direction of the latter. There can be an inclined perforating section to each end of the straight one.
