Abstract (en)

The sheet transfer drum is between the printing machinery in the side walls of a rotary press. It has two grip bridges (8) fitted symmetrically round it, diametrically opposite each other on the Y-axis of the drum. The side surfaces within the drum circumference between the bridges are made convex for the entire length of the drum. The greatest degree of curvature lies in the X-axis zone. The curvature decreases steadily towards the grip bridges. The side surfaces (2) have a dia. ratio to the theoretical drum dia. (d:D) of 1:2 to 1.35:2. The surfaces against the central dia. (d) are angled inwards towards the Y-axis in a straight line.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Bogenüberführtrommel (1), die zwischen den Druckwerken in den Seitenwänden einer Rotationsdruckmaschine gelagert ist, mit zwei symmetrisch am Umfang angeordneten Greiferbrücken (8) und mit zwischen den Greiferbrücken (8) sich über die ganze Trommellänge erstreckenden Leitflächen (11). <IMAGE>
