Abstract (en)
The freeze-drying station (11) has a cooling plate (12) which near its underside (13) is penetrated by cooling coils (14) contg. liq. nitrogen. In the ambient air (16) is water in gas form and/or as water vapour and/or as mist. On the underside a frost layer (17) is formed, and the underside surface is at least as big as the motif to be printed on a textile (18). The frost layer is between 1 and 8 mm thick and is formed by loosely packed ice crystals. The room in which the process is carried out has a min. air humidity of 30% and a temp. of at least 10 deg.C. The pallets used to convey the textiles have a low heat conductivity and heat capacity.

Es ist bekannt, gedruckte Farben durch Gefrieren so zu fixieren, daß sie in der Textilie oder dgl. an Ort und Stelle bleiben, nicht Auslaufen und kurz nach dem ersten Druck der zweite Druck stattfinden kann. Es besteht jedoch Gefahr, daß die Farben an der Unterseite der Kühlplatte der Gefriertrockenstation hängenbleiben und damit verschleppt werden, wodurch Ausschuß erzeugt wird. Die Erfindung beseitigt diesen Nachteil, indem sie eine genügend dicke Rauhreifschicht anwachsen läßt und mit den unteren Volumina der Rauhreifschicht kühlt statt mit der Kühlplatte oder dgl. <IMAGE>
